Joe Divosevic

Joe is currently working through his Strength and Conditioning internship at the University of Pittsburgh

  • 15 yrs. as personal trainer/ strength and performance coach.
  • 1992 APF Junior World Powerlifting Champion - world record deadlift and world record overall combined total (bench, squat and deadlift).
  • 1992 Pennsylvania State 242lb powerlifting champion
  • 1993-1995 super heavy weight amateur boxer
  • 1995 - present professional boxing heavyweight (2 losses in combined career)
  • 2005 Virginia Grapplers Quest grappling tournament- 1st place heavy weight division
  • Coached 3 Golden Glove champions
  • Tried out as an outfielder for Montreal Expos baseball organization in July 1998
  • 25 years of gym experience- including Olympic lifting, power lifting, team training, program design for high school football, speed and agility, personal training people age 3 to 80 yrs. old, athletes including division 1, and training NFL players.

Jane Fontana

  • Coached swimming and diving at Norwin High School 1990-1993
  • Certifications in personal training, nutrition and senior fitness
  • Taught for Allegheny County Dept of Aging Senior Citizen Fitness 1997-1999
  • Taught at CCAC north campus fitness and nutrition class 1994-1997
  • Gym owner, personal and nutritional counseling, 2000-2010

Tim Merolillo

B.S. Sports Management, Concord University


Tim is currently pursuing a Masters of Science degree in Exercise Science and will be graduating in May of 2011.

  • Personal Trainer - develops personalized program designs and personalized nutritional programs.
  • Trained professional, college, and high school athletes at PowerTrain Sports Institute in Wexford.
  • First Team All-Conference and All-Region Baseball performer
  • WPIAL Player of the Year
  • Concord University Baseball Team, 2005 - 2009 (Named Captain as a junior)
  • 2009 Scholar Athlete of the Year in the WVIAC Conference
  • Co-Captain of North Allegheny Baseball Team
  • Held internship with Athletic Director of North Allegheny High School

Roger Paras

Retired from the United States Army Rangers after twenty years of training soldiers, Roger, now focuses on training civilians. Redefining the age of 66, his popularity is directly related to his conviction to educate and motivate people into adopting and maintaining a fitness lifestyle.

Rayco 'War' Saunders

  • 3 time Pittsburgh Golden Glove Champion (1996, 2001, and 2002)
  • Pennsylvania State Champion (2002)
  • Member of the Pennsylvania National Golden Glove Team (2002)
  • 29 professional fights (16-11-2), 7 K-Os.

Rayco's now retired from the professional circuit, but is actively involved in Sin City Boxing. He's come to M.A.C. Fitness to share his expertise with our members.
