Before and After: A Weight-Loss Success Story

Who: Chris Gaheegan
Age: 23
Lost: 42 lbs
Program: Boxing, regimented weightlifting and conditioning, and a common sense eating plan.

Favorite foods: Brown rice, fruits, lean meats.
Favorite workout activities: Boxing, calisthenics, and weight training.

Q: When did you get into fitness?
A: I got into fitness for myself. I wanted to be the best I could be. I needed more strength for boxing and my every day activities.

Q: What were your motivation tools?
A: I use my family and friends for motivation. They always encourage me. My training partners at MAC Fitness also give me good advice about my training. A good support system always helps, especially on the days I don't feel at my best.

Chris just competed in his first boxing match at MAC in December. He completed the competition and is training for the next event. Chris is a pleasure to work with. He meets here at 5am three times during the week and a couple other times on his own.
